El ministro de Salud y Protección Social, Fernando Ruiz Gómez, informó que el Gobierno expediría este miércoles un nuevo decreto por medio del que se amplía por un mes el aislamiento preventivo obligatorio para niños, niñas y jóvenes, mayores de 70 años y población con enfermedades preexistentes.
“Esta es una nueva etapa que cobija a niños, tercera edad, y personas con prexistencias. Pero recomendamos también mantener a todas las personas que se puede haciendo teletrabajo. Recordemos que hay personas incluso del sector público que deben mantenerse bajo esta modalidad”, dijo el funcionario en Caracol Radio.
El Ministro de Salud resaltó que los entes territoriales manejarán la llave de la gradualidad de la nueva etapa del aislamiento inteligente que empezará el 1 de junio. Serán Alcaldes y Gobernadores quienes definan cómo aplicarán esta disposición en municipios y departamentos.
"Toda la gradualidad de la apertura depende de los alcaldes y gobernadores, pero lo que estamos haciendo nosotros es trabajando con aquellos casos en los que se amerite análisis y conversando con los alcaldes y consolidando recomendaciones sobre cuál debería ser la velocidad de esa apertura, pero obviamente la decisión al final es de los alcaldes", dijo Ruiz.
En la tarde de este miércoles, en el marco del espacio televisivo 'Prevención y Acción' que conduce el presidente Iván Duque, también se recomendaría a los alcaldes de Bogotá, Barranquilla, Cali, Buenaventura, Tumaco y Leticia no reiniciar la reapertura económica hasta después del 15 de junio.

"All the gradualness of the opening depends on the mayors and governors, but what we are doing is working with those cases in which analysis is warranted and talking with the mayors and consolidating recommendations on what should be the speed of that opening, but obviously the decision in the end is up to the mayors, "Ruiz said.
In the afternoon of this Wednesday, in the framework of the television space 'Prevention and Action' hosted by President Iván Duque, the mayors of Bogotá, Barranquilla, Cali, Buenaventura, Tumaco and Leticia would also be recommended not to restart the economic reopening until later from June 15.
