Aprueban primer medicamento contra la COVID-19 fabricado en Rusia

El gobierno ruso anunció que la producción del medicamento contra la COVID-19 empezará a distribuirse a todo el país.




Una nueva opción de tratamiento contra el coronavirus estaría empezando a ser producida en Rusia. Según Russia Today, se trata de un medicamento contra la COVID-19 que fue aprobado por el gobierno de este país. El medicamento tendría el nombre comercial de "Favipiravir".
Según el medio, el medicamento contra la COVID-19 será vendido en forma de comprimidos. Estos estarán disponibles a partir de junio para tratar los síntomas de la enfermedad, tanto en Rusia como en otros países.

Así mismo, un laboratorio estatal ruso estaría investigando una posible vacuna contra el virus. Según Russia Today, esta vacuna podría ser inoculada por vía nasal.
La situación del coronavirus en Rusia es preocupante. Más de 396.000 casos se han registrado en el país más grande del mundo. De estos, el 44% (178.000) estarían afectando a Moscú, su capital, una de las ciudades con mayor foco en el mundo.
